While attending a Women’s Conference in 2017, God gave Laney Crowder a vision that would literally change her life. It was a vision of a woman standing in a wheatfield with her hands held high and praising God.

Since wheat symbolizes abundance, in response to her vision, Laney wrote a bible study based on living the abundant life God has promised us. Through John 10:10 (“I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly,”) we have the promise of abundant living.

However, God didn’t promise that the abundant life would always look and feel so abundant! In this life, there are often long, rainy Waiting Seasons and challenging Plowing Seasons, accompanied by strenuous Sowing Seasons and unbelievably exciting Harvest Seasons.

In addition to speaking to Women's Groups about all things Abundant Living, Laney runs Life In the Wheatfield, an online community that encourages women in their daily journey of seeing God’s abundance, no matter what season of life they may find themselves in.
